Advent calenders just aren’t Advent calenders like they used to be in the good ‘ol days. They used to be pretty boring really. It used to be a simple cardboard box with a chocolate behind each door. Not much to it. Sure, you can still pick those sort up, but boy-oh-boy have advent calenders come a long way since I was a kid!

Spending way to much time in pinterest, I came across thousands of totally gorgeous Advent calenders using simple household supplies, like paper bags and envelopes. Take a peek at some of my favoutrites

All these ideas are so wonderfully stylish and beautiful, and yet so simple.

I know December has already started, but I’m thinking of making an Advent calender like something above today for the kids. I’d better hop to it!

Do you have an Advent calender this year?

Great collection of advent calendars Hannah! I decided on December 1 to make an advent calendar… crazy with all the other things that were happening. It was fun and easy to make.
